Director of Community Programs
Role: Innovate ABQ seeks a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and driven team member who shares our passion of building an inclusive economy and who can help lead the expansion and launch of various existing and future programs. This role will report directly to the Innovate ABQ Executive Director and will oversee the organization’s community-building and outreach programs, including the launch of Global NM.
Global NM’s mission is to create a pathway to retain international students and attract immigrant entrepreneurs to build their businesses on and around the Innovate ABQ campus. These entrepreneurs will serve as mentors to entrepreneurially-minded students and enhance the regional startup ecosystem by developing their startup businesses while volunteering within the community.

Director of Development and Placemaking
Role: Innovate ABQ seeks a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and driven team member who shares our passion of building an inclusive economy and who can help accelerate the building of physical assets to support our mission. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated passion for mission-focused development and placemaking, an entrepreneurial and collaborative leadership style, and a proven track record of project management, funding source identification and development, partnership building, and advocacy.
This role will report directly to the Innovate ABQ Executive Director and will oversee the implementation of the organization’s land development and placemaking strategy.
InnovateABQ’s Placemaking Strategy seeks to create an integrated, highly connected community that fosters innovation, technological advancement, and entrepreneurial activity. A goal of the Project is to create a one-stop-shop environment for companies, entrepreneurs, and investors in an accessible and diverse innovation community.
